Cyryx College Hosts a Well-Received Road Show Event

Cyryx College recently hosted a road show event in front of the Velaanaage office building to raise awareness and provide information about the courses offered by the College. The event began at 8:00 am and would have continued past 4:00 pm if not for heavy rain. Even so, members of the public passing through the area showed strong interest in what the College had to offer.

Flyers were distributed to personnel coming in and out of the Velaanaage office building, Huravee Building, and the President’s Office, as well as to passersby from the surrounding area. The road show was well received by visitors, with almost all of them picking up application forms to enroll. Most visitors were primarily interested in certificate-level courses, drawn to the opportunity to learn a skill without a lengthy time commitment. However, some individuals expressed interest in the two HELP University degree programmes offered at Cyryx College — Bachelor of Business (Human Resource) and Bachelor of Information Technology — citing the opportunity to earn an internationally recognized degree as their biggest motivation for joining Cyryx College.

Overall, this marked another successful event for Cyryx College, allowing the College to reach out to and inform a large number of workers from both government and private offices about the courses on offer.
