Cyryx College – Centre for Training & Development (CYRYX-CTD) conducted a workshop on Leadership Capacity Development at the Civil Service Training Institute — the second such workshop held by CYRYX-CTD. A total of 15 senior participants from various departments of the Civil Service took part in the three-day workshop, held from 5 to 7 December 2011. Mr. Gilbert George served as the workshop’s instructor.

The workshop aimed to enhance participants’ awareness of how their choices affect their leadership, and to prompt them to take action toward a desired future. Sessions were designed to encourage participants to share their own experiences, with opportunities to develop and present their own views. Topics covered included change management, employee performance evaluation, performance enhancement, interpersonal relations, crisis management, and innovative team-handling techniques.
