Master of Public Administration (MPA)
Introduction
The Master of Public Administration is designed for professionals who want to develop advanced expertise in public sector leadership, governance, and policy. The programme was designed in consultation with leading public administrators and scholars, and benchmarked against similar international programmes, to build strong expertise in areas such as public policy, governance, and administrative leadership, combined with the strategic thinking and decision-making skills needed to lead effectively within government and public sector organizations. Through a blend of advanced theoretical study and applied, real-world practice, students develop the specialized expertise required to drive positive change within the public sector.

Entry Requirements
- A related Bachelor’s Degree OR
- A related Graduate Diploma at Level 8
Experience Pathway
- 25 years old, completion of a related Level 5 qualification, and 7 years of relevant experience (of which 3.5 years of experience is obtained after completion of a Level 5 qualification), and completion of an MQA approved Pre-Master’s Program. OR
- 25 years old, completion of a related Level 6 qualification, and 6 years of relevant experience (of which 3 years of experience is obtained after completion of a Level 6 qualification), and completion of an MQA approved Pre-Master’s Program.
